School could be better, Teachers are good some better than others. Could be worse. I have seen worse elsewhere as far as teachers. Demographics make up the total sum of the student body. Demographics also play a major key in politics at this school. So be sure to pay attention to that in making your schooling decision. Some number of years ago this was most evident when a issue was raised over low test scores along minority ethnic lines as compared to other ethnic students, Thus forcing the resignation of a Superintendent who was not a minority. Today the super is a minority and the test scores along the sames lines show about the same results. This seems to be about a nationwide norm and is not isolated to just this particular school. This school is suitable for some while not others. If the demographics were more even I could score this school high, But being all out honest I cannot rate it according to best for everyone. Blunt honesty is sometimes harsh. But a real and honest review from experiance is what this page is about.

Raymond high has using several new approaches that has the student body a little frustrated as they still try to work out the kinks. This year there is a mandatory afterschool tutorial for any student that is failing or almost failing any class. Raymond has some great teachers and staff but you can also find some that are just their for the pay check. But we have great athletic programs and fanominal coaches.

This school is suffering. Parents wont even support the football program because of the principal. She treats adults as if they are children and she treats the children horrible. Lack of leadership and experience are the key factors. Some very good teachers that care about what they teach and if the students are learning. I'm so grateful that this is the last two months that my children will attend this school

The level of parent involvement is very low. The extracurricular programs are suffering because of the cancellation of the activity buses that provided transportation for the children after school. I attend this school. The education is fairly well. The AFJROTC program provides students with values and a plan for the future. But overall, the school could be performing better as a whole.

Raymond High School is a great place for learning. The administration as well as the teachers exercise discipline then learning. The school's main focuses is consistency. This is the key to a great learning environment. I would like to see the parents and community get more involved in what's going on within the school.
